One of the first mainstream productions filmed in Toronto’s Chinatown was Cyndi Lauper’s music video “Hole in my heart (all the way to China)”.
Chinatown was also the backdrop for Kung Fu: the Legend Continues for 4 seasons. As well, Chow Yun Fat’s “the Corruptor” in 1999.
The Late Mo Chow in the mid 1980’s opened the door and welcomed productions to film in Chinatown.
